2023
At the DEKRA Lausitzring in Klettwitz, Europe's largest manufacturer-independent testing and inspection facility for driver assistance systems is being developed.
2020
DEKRA expanded its digital capabilities by investing in cybersecurity and digital services, operating across five continents.
2016
DEKRA established its first international technology center in Málaga, Spain, focusing on the testing of automated and connected driving.
2010
The company launched the DEKRA Safety Campaign to promote road safety worldwide.
2005
DEKRA achieved international recognition as a global testing, inspection, and certification company.
1991
Following German reunification, DEKRA established a network of branch offices in Eastern Germany.
1977
DEKRA expanded its service portfolio by offering product testing and certification.
1961
The first branch office outside Germany was opened in Vienna, Austria, marking the beginning of international expansion.

After World War II, DEKRA resumed operations in Stuttgart, focusing on vehicle safety.
1925
